Dens are typically units of 6 to 9 Cub Scouts, grouped by age. All of the Dens form the Pack. Dens meet 2-3 times a month, and the Pack meets together once a month. At Den meetings, Cub Scouts wear their Class B uniforms (cap and t-shirt). At Pack Meetings and most Pack Events, Cub Scouts wear their Class A uniforms.

As a Family Pack, Pack 107 welcomes boys and girls at any age from Kindergarten through Fifth Grade, and at any time of year. Following BSA's Youth Protection guidelines, any dens including girls require a female adult as a leader, and as a result girls may occasionally be placed one year above or below their current age group if there are not enough women volunteering at the time.
For grades Kindergarten through Third Grade, a parent or guardian is required at each meeting and event. In Fourth and Fifth Grade, Cub Scouts can occassionally be dropped off if necessary, provided there are at least two adults running the den. Remember: the Cub Scout program works best when parents and guardians get involved!
In Kindergarten, Lions are slowly introduced to the Scouting program, working directly with their parents or guardians on their adventures, and only meeting 2-3 times per month. Lions do not have a Den Leader, but rather Lion parents and guardians take turns running an adventure for the den.
In Fifth Grade, Webelos II Cub Scouts work towards the Arrow of Light, and the opportunity to bridge over to Scouts BSA and Troop 6 West Orange.
